Young people are not immune to heart attacks, but some of them are exposed to it suddenly, without warning signs warning them, due to many reasons.

 

At what age can young people have a heart attack?

In this regard, Dr. Bassem Sharif, a consultant cardiologist at the National Heart Institute, said that young people aged 30 to 40 years are more likely to have a heart attack.

 

Causes of a heart attack in young people

Sharif explained that the causes of heart attacks in men are as follows:

  • Smoking at an early age.
  • Lack of movement.
  • Excessive fatty foods.
  • Lack of interest in periodic examination.

 

Tips to prevent young people from having a heart attack

He stressed that heart attack is not difficult to prevent, appealing to young people to follow a set of guidelines, to reduce the risk of infection as much as possible, the most important of which are:

  • Eat a healthy diet.
  • Quit Smoking.
  • Regular exercise daily.

Periodic examination of the heart, for early detection of silent diseases that cause clots, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
